In the first two funding rounds, agencies have been awarded $390.9 million in TIRCP grants towards $4.3 billion worth of projects.  Funds were used towards the purchase of buses, rolling stock, core capacity improvements to existing rail facilities, and for the construction of new facilities like the OC Streetcar and Metro-LAX Connector station.
