Why was this tag added to a page?
This tag was added because someone felt that an assertion needed a credible source. Please see Help:Footnotes for the best way to include citations.
Usage
Use this tag for information that needs verification. One or more knowledgeable people may verify information, or, ideally, a reputable source may be provided.
This tag (but reading citation needed) is commonly used in Wikipedia, where verification is very important. Here, it is less essential, however verification is often desirable, and this tag may be used for claims which would benefit from a source, or which seem doubtful.
