Vensim is a simulation software offered by Ventana Systems. Vensim is used to develop, analyze and package feedback models, emphasizing dimensional consistency, connections to data, complex calibration, instant output using continuous simulation, flexible model publication, model analysis, and optimization. Vensim can be used in a wide variety of context for simulating complex system interactions. As of this writing (11 Jan 2017) these is no known use of Vensim in by transit agencies, or relating to GTFS, however it has been used for aerospace development and research[1] and in studying alternative fuel vehicles[2].
