TransitCenter is a national philanthropic organization whose mission is to improve public transportation in the US. TransitCenter is based in New York City. TransitCenter conducts original research and traditional grantmaking, hosts events and training programs, and advocates directly for improved public transportation in New York City. TransitCenter works with transit agencies, city departments of transportation, and transportation advocacy organizations.
